    Bosnia & Herzegovina

    Stanari Power Plant is the first large-scale infrastructure cooperation project since the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bosnia &Herzegovina. It is an environment-friendly power plant meeting EU standards. The electricity from Stanari Power Plant is mainly sold to the European market. According to media reports, the power plant will contribute about 8.8 million Bosnian marks to Stanari City in 2019. The income from the power station has helped the local people build roads and schools, improved the medical and educational standards. Today, the power plant and its ancillary facilities provide 900 jobs for Stanari City. The project brings great social benefits, and the local people feel that" life has changed, and our future is more promising".


    Laos

    In February 2019, the Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Laos awarded a ministerial honorary certificate to Laos Nanmanhe Electric Power Co., Ltd., an enterprise affiliated to DEC, in recognition of DEC's outstanding contribution to Laos' social and economic development. Since the Nam Mang I Hydropower Power Plant built by DEC was put into operation, it has provided continuous and green power to the central Laos power grid, which has made outstanding contributions to the stability of the central  power grid and strongly supported the economic development of the central Laos. In the process of project implementation, DEC actively fulfills its social responsibilities. Provide skills training for local workers and create jobs.  Drilling Wells for local communities, building roads, reforestation, providing free health care, protecting rivers. Kangmani Intila, Minister of Energy and Mining in Laos said, DEC made positive contributions to Laos' national development goal of "shake off the ranks of underdeveloped countries by 2020".


    Papua New Guinea

    DEC contacts the medical staff of the Health Center of the Health Organization of Papua New Guinea. AIDS protection supplies are given away to the villagers, and publicity on disease prevention is carried out, during the regular visits to nearby villages. Transportation is improved where the Sirinumu project is located, through maintenance.


    Uzbekistan

    At the ceremony for completion of the Uzbekistan Zarchob -2 Hydropower Station, the DEC Project Department donated stationery and sports articles to 48 schools in Surkhandarya, the site of the project, to spur local education.
